Many exes with kids may disagree, but Nick Cannon thinks coparenting is a piece of cake.
According to Cannon, who split from wife Mariah Carey in 2014, it’s all about the love they share for 6-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe. (The former couple spend birthdays and holidays together!)
Jim Spellman/WireImage“The common denominator is we both want what’s best for our children,” the former America’s Got Talent host, 37, told Us Weekly Video. “You put them first and you step back and become selfless in making decisions and it’s pretty easy.” Watch the clip above.
Celebs Who’ve Named Their Kids After Cities and CountriesLove still exists between Cannon and the five-time Grammy winner as well. “That’s my homegirl. Always will be,” he gushed to Us. “Whatever she does, that’s Mariah Carey. She can do no wrong in my book.” And neither can his little boy, Moroccan, who the rapper describes as a “genius.”
Rich Polk/FilmMagic“My son, his reading level is like 4th grade reading level and he’s just 6 years old,” Cannon told Us, adding that Moroccan tapped into his Gmail account and changed all of the settings.

Cannon also shares 11-month-old son Golden “Sagon” with Brittany Bell. “I love being a father,” he told Us in November. “A father is the greatest blessing and greatest responsibility that can ever be bestowed on you. So hopefully I can do it again too.”
